Making Deep Roots

Our vision at New Creation is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ so that all people will become His followers transformed by His love. If you are ready for Jesus to begin making you a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), we are honored to share that journey with you. Here at New Creation, we see discipleship as a process that can look a little different for each person. Discipleship at New Creation happens in four stages:

  • REACH: you have had your first experience (or more) with our church by attending an outreach event or worship service

  • CONNECT: you are making a commitment to follow Jesus Christ by becoming baptized and connected with a loving local church

  • FORM: you are discovering more about your new Christian faith and expanding how you practice your faith by participating in worship; studying with a small group; giving of your time, talents, and treasures; and serving in ministry

  • SEND: you are recognizing God’s call on your life to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with others, supporting the mission of the church to make disciples for the transformation of the world

Joining the Church

Becoming a United Methodist begins with a desire to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ as part of a local church. Being baptized and committing to actively participate in the local church are the first steps of becoming a member.

Membership is not required to participate in the life of our church, but we welcome all people who desire to enter the covenant fellowship of our church. As members, we promise together to faithfully live out our faith through our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness.
