In the United Methodist Church, pastors are appointed to a congregation by the bishop of the Annual Conference. Pastors serve in witness and service of Christ's love and justice.
Pastor Randy is a Chesapeake native and graduate of Western Branch High School. After answering the call to pastoral ministry, he completed a BA in History from Old Dominion University and a Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. Pastor Randy is an ordained elder in the Virginia Conference UMC.
Randy and his wife Robin, the Director of Choral Activities at Western Branch High School, are the proud parents of three grown sons; Robbie, Ricky, and Ryan, and grandparents to Riley Rey Duncan.
Pastor Spencer grew up in Roanoke, VA, and is a lifelong United Methodist. Feeling called into ministry while in high school, he began studying Religion and Philosophy at Emory and Henry College and complete a Masters in Divinity at Iliff School of Theology. Spencer began his pastoral ministry in Colorado appointed to a three-point charge in the Mountain Sky Annual Conference.
