The United Methodist Women are a community of women focused on women. The UMW initiatives include providing opportunities to grow spiritually, equipping women and girls to be leaders, providing transformative educational experiences, organizing for growth and flexibility, and working for justice through service and advocacy. The UMW Book Club selects books from the United Methodist Women Reading Program. These books showcase diverse characters and provoking critical thought about many issues, from five different categories: education for mission, social action, spiritual growth, nurturing for community, and leadership development.
